作品以由若干气动推杆、气管和电缆组成的心脏外形为主体，通过推杆的相互配合，试图将机械心脏活体化。当观者将手放置在心率传感器上，人类躯体的心跳数据便和代码驱动的机器心跳产生联结，使机械心脏仿佛拥有能感知情绪的生命体征一般，不断以抽搐和跳动来作以回应。芯片与情感之间的分界线愈渐模糊，编码机器和有灵肉身本质上可能并无矛盾，也无所差别。“或许，我们都是被构造出来的样子。”（《挖心术》，吟光）

The work is based on the shape of a heart composed of several cylinders, air tubes and cables, and through the interplay of the cylinders, it attempts to bring the mechanical heart to life. When the viewer places his/her hand on the heart rate sensor, the heartbeat data of the human body is linked to the heartbeat of the code-driven machine, so that the mechanical heart responds with twitching and beating as if it has vital signs that can sense emotions. The boundary between chip and emotion becomes increasingly blurred, and there may be no contradiction or difference in the nature of coded machines and sentient bodies.
